The pitches are spacious (approx. 10m x 12m), giving you plenty of room for your motorhome or caravan, as well as outdoor furniture and awning. You'll be right in the heart of the campsite, within easy reach of both your children's playmates and the social meeting places that make camping life so special.
Whether you're travelling as a couple looking for some peace and quiet, or as a family with children in need of proximity to the playground, we have a space to suit you. Our aim is for you to be able to put your shoulders down from the moment you've parked. With power readily available, you can recharge your batteries both in your car and at home, while planning tomorrow's summit trip to Gaustatoppen.

When you choose a pitch with electricity with us, all our modern facilities are included in the price. You have free access to our award-winning sanitary facilities with hot showers, family room and washing machine. Our large guest kitchen is also open to you 24/7 - here you'll find everything you need from ovens, microwaves and dishwashers, so you can take the cooking out of the caravan and enjoy a sociable meal under cover.
Strategic base for great experiences
Sandviken Camping is known as the perfect base for active days in Telemark. By staying on one of our caravan pitches, you'll have easy access to an emptying station for motorhome toilets and a refill of our fresh drinking water. After a long day of fishing, hiking or cycling, you can retire to your pitch and enjoy the silence that descends over Tinnsjøen. If you need tips for excursions or a good cup of coffee, our summer open café is just a short walk away.
