Room for mastery and new friendships
Play is very important to us, which is why we have created two different play areas to meet different needs. The most popular attraction is undoubtedly our large bouncy castle and trampoline, where children can burn off energy and challenge their balance for hours. You'll also find a sturdy tower with a slide and climbing opportunities, traditional swing sets (also with their own seats for the little ones), dump buckets and a large sandpit for the more creative projects.
For many families with children, this is the heart of their holiday. Four of our cabins are strategically located around the central playground. These are often the first cabins to be booked, as they offer parents a unique opportunity to relax with a good book or a hot cup of coffee on their own terrace, without losing sight of the children as they frolic on the equipment. It's here, between slides and climbing frames, that new holiday friendships are often made.
Variety and the joy of movement
Our second playground is adjacent to the mini-golf and volleyball courts and is a natural meeting point for slightly older children and those who want a more varied play session. Here, the red circle hut is an absolute favourite for young and old alike - a place where you can lie and look up at the clouds while swinging in time with the laughter.
This area also has its own swings, a dump bucket and a challenging climbing pole that requires both strength and coordination. By having two separate areas, we ensure that there's always room for everyone, whether you're looking for the wild joy of jumping or want to challenge yourself on the climbing pole. The playgrounds at Sandviken are designed to encourage physical activity, fresh air and, not least, the carefree joy of just being a child.
