At Sandviken Camping, we make sure that good, old-fashioned gaming fun takes centre stage. Around the campsite you'll find areas dedicated to activities that don't require a lot of planning, but are guaranteed to get you involved.
Table tennis is an eternal favourite for young people and adults alike. It requires quick reflexes and a steady hand. Our table tennis table is a natural meeting point where winners are crowned and new challengers constantly come forward. Whether you're playing a serious singles match or rolling with the whole family, the atmosphere is always great.
For ball lovers, we have also organised mini football. This is a perfect arena for the little ones to score their first goals, or for a group of friends to have a casual looping game before dinner. The smaller goals make the game intensive, fun and inclusive for all skill levels.
Tactics and a steady hand on the lawn
When the sun is shining and the grass is green, there's little that beats a round of Kubb. This traditional Viking game is the ultimate camping activity. It's all about tactics, precision and taking down your opponent's «king» in the end. Kubb is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon, preferably with your neighbour from the tent next door.
Are you the patient type? Then you should test our Giant Tower (giant Jenga). It's all about having ice in your stomach and a steady hand when moving the large wooden blocks without the whole tower collapsing. The excitement builds with every block removed, and it's as much fun for the spectators as it is for the players.

All the equipment you need for these activities is readily available with us:
- Equipment: Rackets, balls, Kubb sets and the Giant Tower can be borrowed or hired from our café or reception.
