Welcome to Sandviken Kafé – The Taste of Tinn

Our cozy café and reception area is the social heart of the campsite. Here, we serve homemade food with a focus on local ingredients and sustainable choices. Whether you’re craving a freshly baked local pizza, delicious pastries, or a cup of organic coffee in our warm pavilion, we have something for you.

Food and Fellowship in Historic Surroundings

Inside the café, we have space for 35 guests, while our outdoor pavilion and benches are perfect for warm summer days. We are passionate about the environment and your health, which is why we offer a wide variety of flavorful vegetarian options. When we do serve meat, we choose sustainable Norwegian ingredients—such as our pride and joy, the "Tinn Taco," made with local Angus beef from the nearby Eggerud Farm.

We love bringing people together, and during the low season, we host monthly quiz nights on Fridays that have become very popular. Do you need a venue for a special occasion? Our barn is now available to rent for confirmations, birthdays, and meetings for up to 45 people. We are happy to tailor menus for groups, whether you need a hearty breakfast or a full three-course dinner.

Pizza Menu and Light Bites

Our pizzas are made with a thick American-style crust, rich red sauce, and high-quality cheese. We offer two sizes: 30 cm for the hungry and 40 cm for sharing. It’s important to us that everyone can enjoy a meal together, so we naturally offer a gluten-free crust for all our pizza varieties.
