Just 1 kilometre by bike or on foot from Austbygde Bakeri, you'll find idyllic pools where you can lie down and feel the river water flow past - a completely natural massage in beautiful surroundings.
If you're looking for the best sandy beaches, head to Sand water in Hovin. Here you'll find a fantastic beach that is very shallow, making it a great favourite for families with young children. Also Sand vein in Atrå offers safe conditions for the little ones who want to wade, even though the water here can be a little fresher since two rivers meet right here.
Adventurous Røyslandsbergo
For those seeking a little more excitement, the Røyslandsbergo (approx. 8 km away) is an absolute must. Here, the river has made the rocks as smooth as a water park. It's a real pleasure to see both children and adults sliding down the natural slides.
