The volleyball court at Sandviken Camping is more than just a sports ground; it's an arena where new friendships are made online. Our court is used extensively by both local youngsters and visiting guests who want to combine sunshine and fresh air with some physical activity. Whether you're a professional group of friends going for the win, or a family who just wants to keep the ball rolling, the pitch is open to anyone who likes to get moving.
Located next to the playground and miniature golf course, this is a lively area where there's always something going on. Here, you can hear the cheers of a good score mingle with the sounds of children playing nearby. No prior knowledge is required to participate - the most important thing is the joy of the game and the socialising that comes from playing as a team.
Equipment and availability
There's no need to pack your own volleyball in your holiday luggage. We've got equipment ready to lend so you can start the match at any time.
- Loan of ball: Professional volleyballs can be hired in our café or reception for SEK 50.
- Underlay: The track is maintained to provide a good and safe surface for both large and small feet.
- Audience: There are plenty of opportunities around the pitch for those who would rather sit on the sidelines and cheer on their favourite team with an ice cream in hand.
Perfect for team building and family tournaments
Why not organise an informal tournament between the different cabins or caravans? Volleyball is a great way to break the ice and get to know other guests. After an intense match, it's also great to take a refreshing dip in Lake Tinnsjøen, which is just a stone's throw away. Stop by the café, pick up a ball and see who will be Sandviken's sand champions this year!
