A cosy wooden pearl in the middle of events
Our one-room cabins for four people are the very heart of Sandviken Camping. Several of these are unique, hand-hewn cabins with grass on the roof, built with pride by grandfather Nils Olav Fagerberg. The cosy scent of timber and the solid walls create a peaceful atmosphere all of their own. The cabins have recently been upgraded inside with charming light chains, DAB radio with Bluetooth and a selection of games - perfect for quality time together after a day filled with impressions.
The location is ideal for active families, with a short distance to the playground and social areas. Here, the children can run freely between the trampoline and swings, while you enjoy a cup of coffee on the terrace overlooking the mighty mountains that surround Tinn. Since the cabins are centrally located on the site, it's also a very short walk to our modern sanitary facilities and 24-hour guest kitchen.
Sweet dreams in a historic setting
We want your holiday to start without stress, which is why all beds are made up with clean linen and soft towels included in the price. The cabin is smartly furnished with a comfortable double bed and a practical sofa bed, providing plenty of sleeping space for a total of four people. Remember that children under the age of 6 always stay free of charge and are not included in the number of guests!
Create memories around the fire pit
Outside the cabin, you'll find your own fire pit with a grill grate, ready for evenings roasting sausages or just cosying up in front of the flames. We sell good, dry wood from our own forest at the reception, so you can enjoy real fire cosiness right outside your own door. It's in these moments - between the historic timber and the starry evenings - that the best holiday memories are made.
